Poor dog, my gf's dog was sprayed by a skunk few months ago and we used the tomato juice too. It was an American Eskimo and it stayed pink for a few days, the whole house smelled for a few days too.

Poor dog, Grant i have one question.... Were you holding the leash when this happened or was the little guy running free?

The rottie i had a number of years ago managed to get sprayed in our back yard. she took off just as i undid her leash to let her in the house. Heard a yelp and then she came back even faster then she left. It must of been a glancing blow or a spent skunk as she didn't have that "wave of aroma" from 10' away... you basicly had to get a couple feet from her to smell it. An immeadiate hose down didn't get rid of the smell but did mute it down to a tolerable level.

Best of luck, and no the dogs never learn cause they still wanna chase the black and white "kitty" afterwards.
