Re: Atticus is growing :)

Found an odd but fun new place to take pics of Atticus! Kinda funny, I had just gotten him out when suddenly I had to go to the bathroom, I noticed how great the light was in there for him and that the TP holder would make a great perch

Still can't quite capture the full rainbow effect though!

Re: Atticus is growing :)

Gorgeous! Indeed, rainbow boas always glow so much more in real life than on camera. I always imagine all rainbow boa pictures with more iridescence, haha.

Atticus is looking great!

Awww he looks great! And LOL most unique perch ever!

(If you're having trouble with color, the best shots are often outdoors ones.)

Re: Atticus is growing :)

Yeah I need to try outdoor shots and maybe a camera besides the one on my phone
I can't wait til he's full grown, I work at a store that sells reptile supplies (among other things) and I keep planning out his big enclosure, so hard to resist doing it now! I know myself though and if he's not at least close to full size when I move him in then I'll feel like he's outgrown it one day.

Re: Atticus is growing :)

I've had Atticus for one year now! He's grown from a little 35 gram string to 160 grams! Only ever struck at me once, never refused a meal, and never had a bad shed 😃 Couldn't have asked for a better first snake!

Re: Atticus is growing :)

Atticus should finally be breaking 200 grams by his next feeding Just a happy growing boy!

Wish he'd get his white walls going like this^ more often!

Re: Atticus is growing :)

I find that they like to get white walls when its dark and no ones looking. Definitely brings out their colors. Atticus is looking great, seems to be holding that color/pattern pretty well

Re: Atticus is growing :)

The only thing I've noticed fading on him is his little yellow crescents, they brighten up again a bit with his white walls still but they are barely visible otherwise. The rest of his patterning is holding strong though

Re: Atticus is growing :)

Definitely having another growth spurt here! Just weighed in at 243 grams! And getting ready to shed too can't wait to see his fresh paint, as always!
