Re: New snake owner here, My name is Carissa :)

There is no market for corns. The market is saturated just like leopard geckos and beardies.

You have to make sure you can get them homes. I assure you there are people willing.to buy corns. No they arent high dollar like pythons but there are.people willing to buy them. But no, corn snakes are not something you breed for money. If the sole purpose for breeding any animal is money then you shouldnt be breeding. Breeding corns for.me is just because I like the snake itself and genetics fascinates me. They are easy to keep, good tempered, beautiful little snakes with a seemingly endless amount of colors.
That is why I want to breed corn snakes. And when I meant a market for I just meant I needed to be able to make sure I could find homes for them.

I would buy a corn I have 1 and it's the only one I handle regular great first snake for any enthusiast.

As far as breading them I probably wouldn't but someone has to.

I love my two. I love the colors. Im in touch with the lady who runs poppycorns.com (she hasnt updated the site in awhile) and im talking to her about getting some.of her ridiculously pink coral starburst snow and working with them. Her lavenders are fantastic also.
