Re: Some of the inverts
Awesome pictures, love the mantids. I used to have some of those, but the guy I was getting them from had a mite problem. I haven't gotten any since the summer, but I hope to be hatching an egg sac sometime this spring, and keeping some of the little guys. There is an abundance of Mantis religiosa and Tenodera sinensis in my area, I usually keep the latter. I hope to start catching some wild specimens, too. I live out by the farms, so insects and spiders are everywhere. I absolutely love it. Beautiful collection, by the way. Love the tarantulas. I am not allowed to have those as of yet, but we will see how negotiations transpire...

Love the mantid pictures. I'd also like to see more photos of the orange baboon. What a nice color!

Thank you, and ah cool, it would be nice if i could go out and catch wild mantis, would love to do more field herping, but very limited over here unfortunately. It did take some negotiating to get my first tarantulas aswell lol, I eventually won her over.

Thanks, I'll try and get more of the baboon, it is very tricky, one of the best looking spiders in my opinion, but he webs heavily and tunnels alot, normally only catch a glimpse of a leg sticking out of a burrow or an orange blur when he grabs food and drags it back inside lol, but i will see what i can do.

Yeah, with the tarantulas. It has been the same situation with my parents. They think I am insane, can't figure out why I want to catch little spiders and frogs and snakes and bring them in, much less why I would want "big furry, ugly spiders" in the house. I will not stop trying though. I have some ideas...
