Excellent points. I agree 100% that assist or force feeding should be avoided, and hope my advice was not intepreted as suggesting it. As Mykee said, she will eat in her own time once her conditions are improved and she feels better. But when you do next offer, use the methods suggested above.
Minor point, but I'd be curious to know what drug the vet prescribed, and whether the specific bacteria was ever cultured?
