i really appreicate that all of you like the name oscar, but i am looking for a new one now because i am literally the only person who likes it. (i realize that most of you also agree with the name, but i dont know any of you in person so i dont hear very much crap from all of you)

Personally, I'd say if you like the name, the heck with everyone else. When they get their OWN snake they can name it whatever they want. (And I would not hesitate to tell them that either if they were my friends and family ... each and every time they complain about it. Eventually it will get through all but the thickest heads that you will name your pets as you wish.)

Do you have any idea how many millions upon millions of names are out there? Just do a Google search for "snake names" or something, or come up with something more specific than "a name," like a category that we can work with.

Naming a reptile has nothing to do with Experience.. Seeing as your friends and family are making you change its name. Ask them what you should name it, They are the ones in control not us.
