I would consider a Crestie if I hadn't lost two to bad luck (or maybe they just hated me so much they commited suicide)
One passed away in a freak cold snap on Christmas Day and the other passed away literally 3 days after I brought it home.

Tell me that's not the bloody cutest thing ever. They only get about 2.5-3.5 inches. And they're really social, so you can house a bunch in there and watch them interact.

Mourning geckos are so tiny... I'd be scared of accidentally squishing one doing cage maintenance.

It's not like I'd get bored of the animal and neglect it. It's not really impulse if I'm going to research the critter I'm putting in there.
It would be impulse if I received a suggestion and went and got it tomorrow without reading about what it was, how big it got, what it ate...etc.
