Sorry, I had to chase after my offspring and was really in no position to take pictures.

Oh, the boy was good. The problem is: He is very polite and outgoing, so he gets vendors to hand him stuff. (No, you can't keep that hedgehog!) The girl got crapped on by a king snake. That made her day, and she laughed so hard. Otherwise, she spent quite some time on my shoulders.

One of the first expos I ever went to I was so excited! I took my daughter (then 3) with me. She noticed the vendors had beer in plastic cups, so for like 10 minutes she kept saying "Mommy get me some apple juicy". I was just kind of like "What?" then of course "Wow!" and she finally decided she'd had enough of my half-assed parenting and broke free from me and ran off. Seeing as how she was much smaller and carrying no live animals or junk, she made her way through the crowd faster. When I found her she was at a table of mostly hots and had grabbed someone's cup of "apple juicy". Just as I got to her she tugged on the guys shirt and was like "Hey! Your apple juicy taste yucky."

Looking back now it's a rather adorable memory for me, but her first and only public spanking.

Hey, I got a good chuckle out of that one. My daughter knows what beer looks like and wouldn't be that easily confused. I saw one vendor who drank some ale out of a pint glass. Or as he put it: "There is no other way I would be able to stand the craziness, otherwise."
