are they supposed to eat in winter? She won't touch her pinkies- I even put her in a smaller container and left her for a few hours-but no luck

Yeah, sometimes rat snakes (corns are rats too) don't eat during the winter. It just depends on the snake, some are fazed by the change, and some don't seem to notice. My corns are eating fine, but my other rat snakes are somewhat finicky right now. As long as the snake has adequate heat and feels secure, it'll come around eventually.
