Ask the experts, but if I remember correctly, one of the types of carpets have a head wobble like a stargazer corn or spider ball

Yikes, that changed my mind to Emerald Tree Boa's REALLY QUICKLY!!
My suggestion is to stay with Cornsnakes (or other colubrid) or BP's for now.

I try to pop in and -attempt- to be smart every so often...
To me the teeth on the emerald's are a lot bigger.. I'd rather be bitten by the GTP.

LOL, after my vet tech years, and how many times I've been bitten, scratched, punctured and kicked, I would rather not be bitten at all.....other than from my corns, that's like getting an itty bitty paper cut!!

A small percentage of carpets with the jag gene have head wobble. Not all of any one kind. Not by a long shot.
To the op. get the carpet. You will not be sorry. Best snakes for pets imho.
