Re: new to me baby BRB , some feedback needed.

They do like to burrow! Just be careful of where the Amazon moss comes from (them or a reptile store selling on their site). If the latter, always check for and treat for possible bugs -- I know of several people who have unfortunately gotten mite infestations along with their moss! :-( Good luck!

I was going to use this as I use it for my wet hide boxes for the BRB and for my corns shedding .
Amazon.com: Luster Leaf 1489 Compressed Mini Bales Length Fiber Sphagnum Moss, Natural, 2-Cubic-Feet, 1.6 Kilograms: Electronics

I was going to mix it about 30% cypress and 70% moss and not make it as wet , spray daily and keep it at about 88% with the cypress on the bottom layer with the moss on top. i think he will like to borrow in it and I'll make it about 2 inches deep . cleaning should be easy also with this. i will freeze and add boiling water to it first . its very cheap and goes along way , and i complety change out bedding about every 2 weeks and disinfect the tub. Thoughts?

I'm not familiar with the brand. I'm also not sure why the place it under "Electronics," but perhaps this is high-tech moss. ;-) At any rate, just make sure to read the packaging to find out what if any chemicals were used to process it.

Moss should hold moisture well enough to eliminate the need to spray it daily. After you treat it (your plan sounds good by the way), soak it in water then wring it out like a washcloth. That should give you a good base. I spray my vivs only twice a week.

An entire change and disinfect every other week is probably overkill: I spot clean daily, smell-test the hide moss weekly (and change it if needed), but otherwise only change it entirely once per quarter.

They make great pets, KStar. They look amazingly cool, and are very curious about their environment.

I will second what Cliff said, BRB'S make terrific pets! I adore mine, and i've had him for 8 years now. My guy definitely likes to explore when i take him out of his enclosure for some exercise
