I'll take that as a compliment, though. Thanks!

Phil used to have long hair (and by long I mean just below his ears). We'd get addressed as "ladies" often when in public. "Would you ladies like something to drink? Oh, I'm so sorry... You're not a lady!" It was awkward every time. Phil now has short hair. LOL. But being told your SO is your father is weirder. That's a good one. haha

Actually, she's 15. 25 was a typo.

Fifteen is better than fourteen. Haha.
I have a male friend who has hip length hair. From the back, people refer to him as "ma'am". It's too funny!
Rob, that is CLASSIC!

Do you have any photos of her enclosure? What do you keep her basking temp at, if you don't mind me asking.

Re: Maya, the friendly Colombian black and white
I was called "ma'am" once on an airplane, most, embarrassed, flight attendant, ever. I used to have hair down past my shoulders... been a while, I kinda miss it.
Maya is looking great. You definitely should've gotten a poop pic.

There's something about tegus that I really like. And blondes too! :-) No exceptions here either. You're both very cute.
I also agree with you being younger than I thought, and also based on your posts. You're very, very well-spoken... for any age!

Tegus are always nice. I've been heavily debating on whether to get a tegu or a monitor, but it's always nice to see either one!

Haha! Somehow I missed seeing this. The boyfriend and I are 14 years apart in age. He's 24 and I'm 38. Although I've been told I look younger than I am, he really does look like he's only about 17 and it's not unusual for people to assume he's my son (my son is 17 lol). The looks we receive when we tell them the truth is always priceless.

I would love to own a tegu myself one day. I'm still doing research on them, but if I'm not mistaken without looking it up fast, the Columbians are better tempered than the Argentines. I could have it backward though.

Yeah, Colombian tegus are often thought of as aggressive.
