Around here a 7 liter block cost $6 while a 7 liter bag cost $20. These blocks are compressed under a lot of pressure then dehydrated. Which means you can't just break the block up which is compressed down to one liter and get your 7 liters of ground cover. It has to be re-hydrated before use. It absorbs a ton of water and takes forever to dry out enough to place in a viv. Hence why I bake it.

Thanks you guys/gals are a lot of help. I do have another question he is very rainbowie light really reflects the rainbow colors off of his scales what is it? He's never looked like it before and idk if it's because he had a good shed or what?
