Re: How to "fasten" down a temp probe?!

I hot glued the little crappy suction cup, works perfectly!

thanks!

(i tried outside, i put it under it taped to the bottom but it was pretty inconsistent, sometimes it'd be 5 above what it was in the enclosure, sometimes it was 10.. too much of a variation (because it senses heat all around not on one side) so it was wonky at least.

It is kind of hard to use a heat bulb in a rack.. I believe Mykee uses all racks.

I have also never used them.. I hate them. They destroy humidity. Flexwatt or RHP all the way.

Re: How to "fasten" down a temp probe?!

tape in with a snake = bad news. I just read on another forum of a guy who had tape in with a snake. It got stuck around the eye area and made a mess of the snake. I would not risk it personally. I have my herpstat probes on the outside on the tape. The thermometer probes on the inside with hot glue holding it in place on the centre of the tape.
