They said she sheds every 4-6 weeks? I could be way off! I'm going back there today so I'll ask again to make sure.
And I'll take a belly pic when I get home and for sure I'm getting those clips or something.
Can you guys show me pics of your tanks/cages? I want to decorate, but I only know how to decorate a hermit crab habitat and a fishtank lol.

Sweet!
How often do old ones shed? I'm fine with her not being young but I'd like to have her for some time ![Smilie](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif) I do know that she just shed very recently.
So do they bellies indicate something?

Ooh okay. Could she be a Mexican? That's kinda what I thought when I was looking at all the subspecies last night.

Re: Another n00b!
Ok so basic and simple is all they need? I still have to get her a hide or 2. I just don't like the plasticky ones and I was told that a log is gonna mold and stuff. Do you have that problem? Also what bedding is that? I just have aspen in there but yours looks cooler! Would she appreciate some plastic plants or branches to climb on? Or is that just asking for her to find a way to escape. Lol

Re: Another n00b!
yea I have a waterfall in his permant cage so add some plastic plants if you want it won't huet and as for the log molding I never had a problem and I use repti-bark aspen perfectly fine but I love reptibark you can even reuse the stuff but get a temp gauge and a humidity gauge and that's bout it milks are hardy snakes just like corns and kings lol

Re: Another n00b!
Cool.
How big is your permanent cage? I think I have a turtle waterfall type thingy that might work! I'll have to look for it and see what it actually is haha. I like having tanks that don't look boring but aren't overdone either, so I'll play around lol. And I'd much rather have a log than some ugly fake looking thing. Since the humidity is already high, I probably don't even need to mist her much, right? That would also help with the log not molding. Is there a good website for cheaper supplies? I only have a petsmart here and a couple small stores so the either selection sucks or the prices are way too high.
