You can get a "normal" one for a lot cheaper or a less rare one for $30-40

i dont know about any pet stores near you, the one up here has 4-5 tarantulas at any given time from $20-100 depending on the color/type

So far, I don't believe there are any green bottle blue morphs, the posted price for a normal confirmed female is about $150, unsexed babies are between $45 and $60.

When they get older, it's pretty much the same as sexing any tarantula.

Oh well I guess my pet spider going to get hold off for awhile till I can find a cheaper one wish a reptile show would come to arizona next one is like in october

or move to texas (joke!) my only experience w/ a pet tarantula is a friend found one that was a pet and was released/escaped. she caught it w/ snake gloves and it turned out to be a xenthis blue or something, i just remember it was super expensive morph

I've seen desert T's here in the wild few times but I got no clue what kind they are
