Re: just a few randoms
4 hets in the motley possibly 5, the 5th one being stargazer is an unwanted one though. I will be testing all my possible het stargazers (have 8 from sunkissed line) before breeding and selling them on.
For more information on stargazing please have a read of this (If Im not permitted to link to websites , please remove.
Stargazer

Re: just a few randoms
The hammer, sunkissed is a combination of Hypo A and B, therefore making the motley a 5 het and possibly 6.

Sunkissed is hypo B, is genetically independant not combination of A+B

Re: just a few randoms
O, your right. I read this on serpenco's site and misunderstood it.
Quote:
Now just recently it was discovered that not only are the type "A" and type "B" Hypomelanism incompatible (meaning that when they are bred together, you get normals), but they are cumulative in their effect when an animal is homozygous for BOTH of them. In other words, a corn snake homozygous for both "A" and "B" (Sunkissed) Hypomelanism will be approximately twice (more or less) as brightly colored as the snakes homozygous for only one of them. Of course, there is a great deal of work to be done to explore this more fully, and the potentials of where this can lead when combined with other cultivars opens up an entirely new world to explore.

I thought was saying A and B was sunkissed, not B.
