The egyptian uros grow to about 3 feet long. The rest of the uro's are closer to a foot. My vote would be for the uro. I love them!

if you can find CBB (captive born and bred) Uros than go for it the problem is there are still a lot of wild caught specimens for sale. Wild caught could have health problems and parasite issues and so forth.

I would go with an ornate uromastyx they have some pretty awesome colours and patterns

I prefer uros I had both Bierdies and uros and to me uros are easier all they need are veggies with an insect or two every once in a blue moon. The only thing you have to worry about is high temperatures uros need. I prefer the savannah Uromastyx because they get big but not to big. I have a savannah Uromastyx and they aren't ugly like the one above go to Deer Fern Farms Saharan Uromastyx Page to see them
