One breeder in Canada was claiming this line of Caramels was "Kink free" and that he had produced "50 babies as proof". Well, a friend of mine bought that line and this year produced 10 Caramels and 7 were kinked. So, the "Kink free" line produced 70% kinked
About 10-20% of the Caramels I produce are kinked and always in the middle of their backs. Others produce tail kinks (which some breeders clip off and then sell as kink free babies) while others produce neck kinks, or skinny heads.
I still think there is lots to be done with the Caramels. However, you just have to be aware that they can kink.
