That sounds so unnecessary! I could not hold anything against anyone who kills and eats herps if they are among the few available sources of food they have available - I would eat them too. But I'm sure many viewers love seeing them kill and eat herps, despite the fact that they may not need to do that at all. It's all for the purpose of "entertainment" together with possibly providing some educational tips on survival with herps as one of your few available food sources.
But I haven't seen either of these shows, so I really cannot give a fair opinion until I do. I will now have to check them out despite the fact that I'm almost certain it will make me too.

hahaha i get some laughs from his shows, and your right i cant believe some of the stuff he attempts... I dont like Les, his show is just depressing lol.. I would never be lost in the wild by myself!! Dual Survival is a pretty good show to, that one guy killed a Burmese Python in Florida.

Re: A tule boat...

Sorry can anyone really tell me Man vs. Wild is good at all? It's so fake it makes me want to puke. While bear does have an impressive background(cimbing everest at a young age, SAS service...) that show is pathetic. I'm still neutral on stroud but if I remember right I didn't like either show.....

Here's just one pathetic part. Who could really live with themselves trying to sell this crap to people as real? Going to get someone hurt...
