It is most certainly a she...and she is under a year old hatched fall of last year I think.

The way she is being hissy and strikey all the time makes me think she is stressed...which is why I don't handle her at all.

There's someone on another forum who did this, it worked for them beautifully The vibration is what causes it, makes the mouse seem alive.

I feed with long tweezers and one thing i have done to attract the snake to the plate that the f/t prey is on is to vibrate the tweezers and then touch the plate - the vibration certainly attracts the snakes!!

I just discussed the brown paper bag method with someone the other day , and yes it did work , also a great reason to buy a bottle of wine
