Re: Covering Tank Relieve Stress?

Well my girl isn't hiding out all day or anything like that. She is quite active. However if someone walks past the tank she gets a bit hissy and flattens out her head.

LOL That is pretty much her. She is full of herself to be honest. One reason why she is named "Adelina". The name means "little noble".

Re: Covering Tank Relieve Stress?

Id cover it, or get a netting type material. I cover the front of my breeder cages with curtains the white see through kind to give them more security and peace. if she/he gets hissy when you walk by that is a good sign of stress or too much traffic in front of his/her cage id move them to a quitter part of the house and cover some of the cage if a solid cloth and all of the cage is its a see through type cloth

I don't have another place to put her tank at the moment. We are getting a table built and then *maybe* we can move her to our bedroom where no one is for a large part of the day/night. For now I have a nice thick towel covering half of her tank. That way the living room and most of the dining room is blocked off...where she would see the most traffic.
