Re: 1,000's
Aaron: .67 Posts per day (roughly)
Sapphyr: 9.38 Posts per day (again, roughly)
Wayne: about 8.62
Reptile: About 5.97
So it looks like Aaron Definitely gets those Kudos he was talking about, while I think Sapphyr's the quickest set of typing hands here lol

Re: 1,000's
Over the years I have learned to appreciate both, people who post a lot with not much to say, and people who don't post much, but when they do it's a post with some useful content.
The way I look at it, whenever someone posts on a thread, even if it's just "nice pics" the post keeps the thread alive. Folks don't reply to quiet threads as much as they do active threads.

Re: 1,000's
I think, to make it easier on myself, I will be using only those that have over 100 posts or have joined in the past year. Lots of people on here from like '03 with only 25-50 posts. Sound good?

Re: 1,000's
You can also make it a lot easier on yourself, of all the members that have been around more than 5 years, only half a dozen are still active.
A few years ago the previous owner of the forum let it fall to ruin, we lost a lot of members, although they still show up on the members list.
Our good friend Jason (AKA Boots) purchased the forum and last year he asked me to help turn it around. Since then we have seen some amazing growth, like the Phoenix rising from the ashes.

Just click on someone profile, then statistics and it will tell you their average post per day. Don't get any easier than that.

Re: 1,000's
Ohhhh, so that's why I don't see a lot of the older members.
Well, just a note, but when you Google 'snake forums' it's the first thing to come up! That's how I got I, I needed a well populated forum for a speedy response to help my corn c: ... 'Course, those that were there know what happened but... the help was still appreciated.
And Wayne, I can't help but to inquire... Is that latin in your signature? I took two years of latin in high school.

But...but...but...I wanna do it the HARD WAY
lol what I've actually decided to do is take the members that have been active so far this year, and I'm gonna make a big fatty Excel spreadsheet for it, and then it should be sortable by all the different columns. Just for fun

I have seen the quote before - something about wise men not spreading gossip - not sure about the strict translation tho. It was one of the considerations for a tattoo before i went with ancient greek instead.

Re: 1,000's
I vaguely remember some of the words, but I was horrible with latin. I mean, I was great in the beginning, but I don't know a lot of English terms. You ask me what an adverb is and I'd have no clue. I know a verb is an action, but I don't know what an adverb is. This, later, became an issue for me in Latin II and I eventually had to leave or I'd fail it, for certain. I hated to leave because, one, it was an interesting language, and two, the teacher was a friend of mine. Very nice, always loved talking with her. It was honestly for my own good, though.
I've, unfortunately, forgotten most of what I learned there.
