Re: Escape to FREEDOMMMM!!!!!!

.. Yanno.. The alfredo sauce doesn't sound half bad... I should try this one day. Cook up some roaches with alfredo sauce.. maybe toss in some pasta and chopped broccoli... Yeaaaah.. That sounds really nice. I think I'd barely notice the roaches then.

Wonder if I've ever had some form of odd meat without ever knowing it. I know I've had ostrich, kangaroo, alligator, venison, pheasant, antelope, maybe squirrel... and the usual, chicken, cow, pig, and sheep... Gotta say, Sheepies are one of my favs <3 Then Kangaroo, Venison, and Ostrich.

Edit: I'd, ofcourse, want the roaches de-legged though...

... How'd you know I missed goat? 'Cause you're absolutely right. I DID miss goat.

So, to add to my list, goat. And no, I'm not just saying that, I've had Indian Goat Curry before.~ Very tasty <3 Never tried Goat Kabobs, though.

To add, I dunno... The males look kinda bleh.. Look TOO much like a roach, if that makes any sense. I think if I were to ever eat a roach, it'd be the female roaches.

I spent a week in a small fishing village called Ubatuba and the boardwalk vendors had all sorts of unusual foods, I found most all of it really tasty.

Wow... That's an absolutely stunning photo and place!.. Funny name though.. Ubatuba... All these unusual foods intrigue me. I'm adventurous when it comes to taste :>

Re: Escape to FREEDOMMMM!!!!!!

I am one ofr trying "anyhting" but still not sure about insects. HAve eaten -cow, sheep, goat, horse, alligator, shark, fish, frog, chicken, turkey, ostrich, buffalo, rabbit, deer.

Would probably say shark buffalo and ostrich are my favourites out of the list.

Wayne, tried to get some pics of my strange males but they are too damn quick! Could you repost the pics you showed me all those months ago of the males? Maybe i am remembering them wrong.........

Re: Escape to FREEDOMMMM!!!!!!

Those look just like my males Rob.

Our little gecko ate 4 medium size Juvies (they all look alike until maturity) last night.

It was neat, just a few minutes after he ate them, he sat right on top of where the heat pad is, and closed his eyes.

Re: Escape to FREEDOMMMM!!!!!!

Those two are the only mature males in there so far so they are safe for now , i reckon when the next lot mature should have more than enough to start the feeding - quite looking forward to seeing our guys tackle them.

Thanks for the reassurance wayne - my memory isnt the greatest but my two didnt look like my memory of the one you posted.

Re: Escape to FREEDOMMMM!!!!!!

I have way too many males, wish I had more females, my dragon prefers the females but I try to get rid of the males because you don't need a lot of males to breed 1:3 ration of males to females.

Re: Escape to FREEDOMMMM!!!!!!

Leaving to come home was difficult, I could live there in an instant.
