You may not guess this of me, but I'm a MAJOR Star Wars geek! And proud of it! Waited in line for 3 hours at the premiere of Episode II, and I must say that one was way better than Episode I. Although the storyline between Anakin and Padme is important (it must be shown how his temptations lead him to the dark side, as well as how Luke and Leia were conceived), they really made it uber-cheeseball in Episode II. But still, the clone wars should be GREAT!

SW Trivia for ya... did you know that Obi-Wan dies in the clone wars? That's right... the Obi-Wan in Episodes 4, 5 and 6 was his CLONE! If Lucas omits that from the movie, I will be miffed, I tell ya.

Kenny, I'm impressed!

I'm with you. I say the Padme/Anikan scenes are kind of the whole point of Episode II. That's WHY he turns to the dark side. If they don't show that, what's the point?

I'm looking forward to Mace's death scene! I already know more about it than I want to though.

So Ken, heard any more rumors about Episode III?

Tim, I haven't heard any rumors or spoilers, except that we get to see Mace whomp some serious Sith A$$ before he gets defeated. I try not to read any spoilers. As for the Padme/Anakin scenes, they were just too much. Sure, they need to show it, but they could have done it without the cheeseball field full of flowers, rolling down the hill giggling crap.

Timothy Zahn!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Well we will always differ there, that was by far the worst series imaginable, He knew Jack s*** about SW mythos when he wrote that, add libbed his way though it, found a simple means to make it possible to not have to address the force and then stole liberally from Jedi to get out of the series!!!!!!!! Zahn was the worst !, and Vector Prime the one book that sums up the "if you can't write within the SW universe, then change it to suit you" philosophy that characterizes a long list of bad novelists. But that seems to be a dividing line between us Old School SW fanatics and today's SW geeks.

Which is an excellent point there, I never was nor will be a SW "geek" I'm far too hard core old school with way too much of a life to wear that hat.

Besides this is the wrong board for this arguement anyway. There are forums at TFN for this.

Never trust anyone who can't remember seeing SW in theaters in 1977. (AKA don't trust anyone UNDER 30)
