I'm not Gregg, but since he hasn't replied yet, I will...

SAIMR (South African Institute for Medical Research) makes a polyvalent AV that covers Bitis, Naja, and Dendroaspis pretty effectively. This would be the A/V used to treat both rhino and gabby bites by either one, so it's pretty reasonable to guess that it would be used for a rhino/gab hybrid as well. Hope this helps (and sorry for stealing your reply Gregg, but i couldn't help it )

Not a problem psilocybe.....LOL..... As long as the info in the answer was correct...... In which case you would be correct in your guess..... The venoms between the gaboon and rhino vairy a bit, but the venom composition is alot alike..... Rhino bites are treated with SAIMR with great results even though their venom is not used to produce the polyvent......

Here is an odd question. I know the Gaboons have very very large fangs.

Do these two species have about the same size fangs? Or do all gaboons have the very large fangs?

Gaboons have rhinos beat in fang size by a long shot...... Not even close........ It is safe to say that a cross will have a fang size between a gaboons and a rhinos average fang size....... The closest runner up for fang size would be the Bushmaster then the puff adder and rhino viper as the two average around the same size in fang length.....
