Hey,
I have beardies as well as 2 pairs of uromastyx.. Just to give you a little heads up. From your posts I understand that your goal is to breed whatever lizard you decide to buy. Beardies are very easy to breed, they pretty much do all the work. But just make sure you have the time and supplies to take care of all the babies. Bearded dragons are hard to sell as well, especially if your selling normals. Your going to either have to sell them very cheap individually or as a lot, and don't even consider selling them to pet shops. Uromastyx on the other hand.. If you buy an adult pair, they will most likely be wild caught, as there are not many breeders of uromastyx. The only one I know of is the gillards. Also I've heard that uromastyx are quite difficult to breed. However, they make excellent pets. Please consider what I wrote, before purchasing either lizard.

Ive heard uro's are hard to breed mostly because when they dig their holes for the eggs when they try to put the dirt back the cut open the eggs with the nails so someone told me that cutting the nails could help. Theirs obviously other thigns that come into play, but chryseis is right...beardies breed EASY and sell hard. If you are in for the money and the benefit of the herping community go for uromastyx...cb's are at 250 now. Thats an average price id say...more from 200 - 250. not to shabby

Uros are harder to breed than beardeds. The eggs can be pretty tricky to hatch as well. Beardeds produce alot more eggs. Uros only lay eggs once a year. The average clutch is 12-20 with our largest bieng 36!!!(only once)
looking after them... the uros are easier. only greens and the occasional cricket.
CB Malis usually go for around 150.00-200.00
We should have Nigerian and Hardwicki this year as well.
