She ain't sick. Trust me.
She has calmed down a bit, but she still hisses every now and then when i change her water bowl or feed her. I have picked her up a couple of times but she won't calm down.
Like Lynds said, patience and understanding are important factors, not all snakes behave the same. Mine is a bad tempered one and there's no quick fix for it really, i just gotta wait it out and hope she'll calm down as the years go by.
