If correcting a bad husbandry issue is being "mean", then believe me, I'd rather have someone be mean than politely sit back and wait to hear about another departed reptile. The closest to mean I've seen is when someone asks for advice, which implies they have doubts about something, then pointedly ignore 8-12 people who all advise the same thing, because it's not the answer they want to hear (or so I assume to be the reason).

I love it here. The only mean person here is that Favelle guy. If it wasn't for him this place would be like Nirvana! ( had to do it Jeff)
Oh and Chuck....you are mean! Funny looking too! There now we're even for the day you called me weak. lol

huh ppl have called me names and stuff at this place but im mature i dont care im one of the most humble. unless someone wont shut up after times and times then i blow up but ill just ignore ppl who are @$$'$

I belong to many forums, and I have to say, I received the most welcomes from this one

So I'm here to stay. But to the original question, other forums I use are reptilerescue.on.ca, reptilerap, predatoryfish.net, and many other aquatic ones.

It's a great community. Very active, popular, friendly, and helpful. No wonder I have over 4000 posts there

It's not just for turtles either. It has a snake section and other herp section.

I like this forum also. Nice to be able to talk herps with people in my area, and you're a great crowd...(sorry if i'm a bit of a lurker

The people at Aussie Pythons (http://www.aussiepythons.com) are interesting in that they do not have the snakes we have here in the states. Lots to learn

ssnakess.com is the best second to bobclark.com there are people from that forum as well . Watch out 4 Lynch on bob clark he is an A$$ . he kicked me once but i go under a diff. nick
