He is a sav monitor...about 12 inches long...put him in a 10 gallon with a good supply of crickets...maybe get him to eat more...thats whay he is in a 10 gallon. I have a 20 gallon set up as his normal home...but I should have a 50gallon for him within a week.

Just make sure he gets a lot of water more then food. I remember I once lost a leopard gecko for a while and she was really thin and very dehydrated but I got he up to weight in about 3 days.
