mine i got from friends as i'm the only chick in our group they took to calling me their little princess and it evoleved to little tatty princess as i just can't get enough of getting inked it's just kind of stuck over the last few yrs but as you all can see i left out an s at the end..lol...too many beers that night i guess

Tai_pan is from a James Clavell novel. I originally read the book in the early 80's and picked it up as my C.B. handle when I was stationed in California. When I got a computer, I just switched over to using it as my computer 'handle".

Elevation24 is the name of my company, and it derived from the fact that I THOUGHT my town was 24 feet above sea level (and then I saw another sign when entering the town that said Elevation "240" and I realized that the 0 had been scraped off the first sign).

When i got my computer 4 years ago i was trying to think of usernames.... so I took out the "an" from Melanie and ended up with Melie but didn't like how it was spelled so it turned into Melly lol
Ever since everyone picked up on it and have been calling me Melly

Mine is complicated
When I was single I was on dating sites and everybody knows that there's alot of BS being said on these site.
Since I was the kind of guy to be pretty true and didn't like telling lies, I decided to call myself WYSIWYG (from an old Lotus 123 software tool) What You See Is What You Get.
And it later got shorten to Wyz since no one could say my nick in one breath
Then, fell in love... my girl friend loves snakes so she took the nick Meduza. Now we have a website mixing our 2 nicks together.. wyzza.ca

At first i was Ember but then i decided i liked Amber better but too many people were called Amber so i had to think of something to go with it and i kinda believe in fate so i became fateamber, that happened about a year and a half ago. Its weird though cos now i can't be fate amber, i have to be fateamber

Well I used to be signed up for a birds website cause I was really into birdwatching and peregrine falcons were my favorite. Now I am mostly into reptiles but the name still stuck.

i have 2 reasons and the 1st one comes in parts....
1st
on my dad's side of the family back in austria there was an illegitimate affair with a duke.......so for royal terms i take "Lady" and in native beliefs my bird totem is a hawk....put them together and you get LadyHawke!!
2nd reason is i love the movie.....
