I'm absolutely speechless at this point. My sincerest condolances for you, and I'll have my fingers crossed that Rogue pulls through and that the sick sonofa***** who did this gets what's coming to him/her. Hang in there.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It makes me sick to think that someone could do something so disgusting.

I am also speechless. I can't believe this has happened to so many people! I hope for the sake of humanity it was idiot kids and not a truly cruel human being.

Beth,

I am so very sorry to hear of this tragedy, and can only imagine the pain your are feeling. I met one of your dogs last year at the Richmond show, and I agree that your dogs are friendly, well socialized, mild mannered dogs. My most sincere sympathy on your loss.

RIP Keigan ~ gone but not forgotten

My sincerest condolences - I only hope despite your grief, that you have been able to contact the police and initiate an investigation and that the clinic has retained material to support toxicology testing to confirm the diagnosis of poisoning. It is a difficult investigation to pursue and prove anything, but it is definately worth it. I know of cases in Sask and Alberta where convictions have resulted. Prayers are with you and wishes that the other two are home soon and fully recovered.

Thank you to all for your condolences. I have gotten the toxscreen back, being high amounts of wolfbaine/antifreeze, mixed with our record temperature heat yesterday which intensified the reactions. Rogue is holding her own, the kids however, are not. They grew up with these dogs.
Jen, Keigan was the dog you met last year at the show. He would never hurt a fly, but would give his life for the family. Go figure. He did.

oh.......and the RCMP.....they could care less. Unless we have a suspect or a motive, they have more important things to do. Their words.

Wow Thats sick someone felt the need to murder your dogs.... It could quite likely have been someone who wanted to rob your home later that night.

My friends dad works for the Rcmp and he was telling me about what burglers usually do before they try to rob you usually they find dogs dead in the backyard. Its brutal they cant help you either but its pretty likely they wont be able to find the murder because they have no leads or suspects. they cant do jack the law works against it self in so many ways.

I feel sorry for you and your family I hope Rouge gets better soon Karma with catch up with the murderer if the law doesnt

Beth, I am so sorry that someone (whom I can't even refer to as a human) would poison your dogs. I know what you are going through, and I hope that things will only get better for you. Just reading your story made me cry too, because I thought of my first dog, Whitney, who my had put down without my prior knowledge or consent. (The dog was old and feeble, but I wanted to be there for her when she passed). I hope that you have filed a police report and find out the nasty @$$hole that did this. I don't know what else to say, but my prayers are with you.

I'm sorry that this has happened to you. I hope they do catch them and find out why they would do this to anyone.

So sorry to have heard about your loss. If you ever find out who the scumbag that is resonsible is, you can put me at the top of the list of people that will give him/her what they have coming & then some. This post makes me sick to my stomach, it makes me loose what little faith I have left in man. So, so sorry for you & your family. Mark I.

That is so terrible. I hope the other dog makes a full recovery. I also hope you can somehow figure out who did this!
