yeah, I listen to pretty much everything except country. It really depends on what mood I'm in. My fav bands are Dave Matthews and Our Lady Peace, but I've been known to listen to a little Beethoven or Backstreet Boys too....heheh

Well, I wasn't going to post on this thread. Partially because I"VE NEVER HEARD OF MOST OF THIS STUFF you guys are talking about!

But now there's some stuff I recognize... David Bowie is prolly my all time favourite! Among others, Tom Petty, the Who, Diana Krall, AC/DC, Bob Marley, Prince, the Eurythmics, Paul Simon, lotsa big band stuff, motown, clasical, etc. The only country CD I own is Shania Twain.

Whenever I use an online radio station, it's Jazz. In the car, it's Classic Rock 103.9, the Hawk.

Ha ha! Jason H, I'm with you! C.C.R., Guess Who, AC/DC, Skynard, April Wine, Trooper, etc. In the car (if I don't have a tape or a cd of oldies) it's country. Drives my friends nuts! They can't understand a 20 year old female not liking Our Lady Peace...

This old guy listens mainly to 70's hard rock and progressive rock. I just don't get the "new" music at all, especially rap.
My all-time favourite band is Deep Purple. I also listen to Max Webster, the older RUSH albums, Triumph, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, Cream, etc.
I've recently been listening to an English band called "Ozric Tentacles" who play a really amazing mix of ambient/techno/rock. They have a smokin' guitarist and are constantly changing the line-up of the band. They are about the only "newer" music that I'll listen to.
