Well their noses are there for two different reasons on the asian vine snake. one is for when it wants to strike it looks at its prey and sees it in the middle of cross hairs. and 2 is it help to break up their shape. and same with the madagascan one. they have the the pointy nose to help break up their shape. i have never been bitten by a vine snake before but i hear it hurts like heck! asian vine snakes go for $20-$50 in the states, and Madagascan ones go for $30-$175 Huge rang in price. soon my web site will have phone numbers for where you can get vines.
