do a search on google there are quite a few site on them but they have nasty temperments they need high humidity and are prone to skin problems so they are no starter snake they have a insane irrandenance and are know as the fastest striking python in the world they can grow to be 10 feet long and are fairly slender

When you get them young, they can tame qui easely with proper handling. My pair is quite calm. Also, the black phase can grow up to 9 feet max but the golden phase stay smaller, between 6-7ft, maybe 8 for exeptionnaly large specimen. Here's a good website for them: http://www.leiopython.de/en/index_en.html

Ten feet!? hahahaha, not really. The goldens like mine are stay much smaller than that.

My white lips are irridescent, but I wouldn't say insane irridescent. The water pythons have far more irridescence on them. The scales of WLP's are very small and fine, which give them extremely soft skin, but a lot of irridescence.

Also, please do not perpetuate the myth that white lips are nasty, Bryce. My previous female, even as a fresh WC was friendly, and this pair can be picked up and handled carefully. My water pythons are far worse, and there are a great many tame WLP's out there. They deserve better. They are my favourite python by far.

As for striking, yes, they are extremely fast, b/c they give you no clue that they are going to bite and can strike from any position it seems. They have a lot of teeth too! I've been nipped on the lip without a spot of blood, but the little female has made me bleed quite a bit.

Hey Bryce does your sig refer to Occam's Razor?

This is what i truely ment the blacks can grow to 10 feet i think there insanely irridescent compared to most snakes and from what i understand they generally are nasty I think with frequent handling Nearly any snake will tame somewhat I have heard they also have the most teeth but I dont know about that

Sorry, I meant to say not a lot of irridescence.

I guess I look at my water pythons too much, because those snakes are highly irrirdescent and I find the white lips while having nice colours are not nearly as much so.
