I'm so sorry I know how it feels to lose a snake to another pet. I know I am just beating the same note, but please don't give up! Maybe try a more grown snake next time?! You can find larger corns at most shows for a pretty good price most of the time.

My first snake was a baby BP. I absolutely adored him, and coddled him and bragged about him...but he just never ate, and the day one day I took him to the vet to see if we could help the little guy...but that night when I brought him home, he died. He was due to go in to stay with the vet and get tube fed two days later, but it was too late. So, I went right out and got a new BP, and it was the best thing I could have done. I love my little girl so much, she is absolutely the best snake on the planet, and I never would have had the pleasure of her always wonderful company if I had just given up on keeping pets, which I was all set to do when Razael died. Go buy a new snake! It won't replace your little friend who dies, but it will help, and in the end you will love your new friend even more! Trust me!

Sorry Izzie to hear of your loss, but don't give up.. My wife and I lost a Congo Grey Parrot 5 year ago, when someone broke into our house and besides the usual, stereo gear, jewelry and cash, they went for "Caesar" our Parrot. Not knowing that Caesar was very protective of his cage and even we would not put our hands into the cage to take him out, we would let him come out on his own..Long story short..the SOB hit the bird after getting bit (evidence on the walls) and 3 days later the Parrot was dead..This was a MASSIVE and TRAUMATIC LOSS to both my wife and I and it was a very difficult time but we persevered. I still wish I could find the $%^&@# who did this. But keep smiling and keep at it,...the rewards will come back to you
Best wishes
Jim
