12 aint so bad! I'm aaaaat....19 right now....if I get the ither 2, that would be 21, and that's just my reptiles....lol. Sorry to hear you haven't been well. Hopefully that's taken care of soon.
Reptiledude.....we need a singles mingle or somethibg. My reptiles scare everyone I know away lol. Even ny best friend said she didn't want to step foot in my house after just 1 snake. She has sinse relented so long as she doesn't have to see them. Makes me sooooo saaaad!
Also, this goes for girlfriends and boyfriends. Remarkably many other dudes don't like sbakes either. =(

Ive heard the same thing mink. We need to create an online dating site for herp keepers. Oh wait.... If my collection combined with another like it, it would literally be a zoo. I will have to give this some thought.

Haha, I'm lucky to have a boyfriend that likes reptiles (and he's like "you want this one? okay, no problem, we can buy it") 
And guys don't worry, there must be somewhere the girl that loves reptiles and will be like "oh my god, marry me, I want to have all your snakes in my home!"

Hahaha, you know, if you weren't soo far away, and I weren't in really happy relationship, then who knows...
But on a serious note, unfortunately most girls are like "cats are soo cute, and other animals are meh", and boys... boys are just "but why do you want a snake? why not a cat like normal girl?"

Hmmm I usually turn guys down before they even find out about my pets...I wonder how many would never have asked me out in the first place if they knew about my snakes and spiders? Or, really, if they knew anything about me at all besides the way I look and what my major is o.o Maybe my life would be simpler if I walked around with a t-shirt that says "I keep snakes and spiders as pets"

I don't see that any more or less different than people who advertise that they like anime and gaming.... =)
We should have shirts or buttons or something that say like "Single reptile lover" or something witty and cool to anounce to other closet herps or just interested parties know how 'dark secret' lol.
