That's just my personal view from the picture of what i see that i think he could handle it, i could be wrong but my male retic's body is maybe just a little bigger than that and i fed him 3 this weekend and barely put a dent in him but i think they were advertised bigger than they were also, id get the rats that have there eyes open and can walk around but not at the size there starting to run all over the place either. Just my 2 cents
