Re: 20 Gallon Aquarium, and questions

well i can't multiquote either, seems not to be an option.. i could do it by hand, which i do on the computer, but its a real pain to do so on my phone :/ .. so i end up post per quoting as well. And i second that a bci is a good starter snake, (when it comes to eating even better than bp's) Would look at the parents or find a smaller variety for the first time though

Sorry I was reading another post before yours and got the size mixed up on the aquarium, if your adamant on covering the back and sides why not go with the reptile wall papers that way if you ever want it unpainted you just take the tape off the wallpaper and your done instead of having to scrape the paint off with a razor plus the wallpaper just looks better?

No worries! Thanks for the advice! This forum has definitely given me a lot of tips on how to get ready for my first snake. Needless to say, I'm getting pretty excited.

You're taking way more steps than most people before buying your snake, smart. Good luck with the BCI, they're definitely great. Everything else has pretty much been said. We expect pictures when you get the little one.

Another option would be to just bite the bullet and get a large plastic enclosure from Animal Plastics,Pvccages,Constrictors Northwest, Boaphile and Vision Cages to name a few. Your snake is going to outgrow smaller enclosures fast anyway.

Animal Plastics

Snake Cage and Reptile Cage at PVC Cages | PVC Cages: For Healthier and Happier Snakes and Reptiles

Constrictors Northwest

Plastic Reptile Cages, Tanks and Racks. Snake, arboreal, lizard and turtle light weight custom flexwatt heated enclosures.

+1 you will never go wrong with these. Maybe with vision cages if you live in a very dry area but the rest are top notch.
