He seems really nervous but not aggressive or anything. I really didn't want to handle him yet but he seemed ok with it. I'll try feeding him soon .
Cool shot! He will settle down. Darth is relaxed now when I remove him from his enclosure. Then starts exploring.

Well darn! Keep us posted. I'm surprised he hasn't eaten. Feeding pinks or fuzzies? Darth is eating fuzzies.

Re: He's here! (black milk snake)

I just realized I posted this in General Colubrids instead of the milk snake forum. Guess I was too excited, ha!

I'm thinking of calling the little guy Remington, Remi for short . No idea why, just popped into my head. We'll see!

He took two large f/t pinkies today! I'll definitely move him up to fuzzies after this. He has a great feeding response...but awful aim. He kept missing even though I wasn't moving it at all...ha.

Remi sounds cool! Congrats! Darth misses too but has the same feeding response. Now if Knox ' s Black would feed that would be awesome. 3 Brothers!

Remi's going into shed for the first time since getting him . I'll post pics when he's done!

(two of my sand boas are also shedding, must be the time for it!)

Remi is doing well! He hasn't missed a meal, even while in shed .

Here he is right before shed:
