Its a pure blood coastal carpet. Locality pure as well.
I only keep pure blood snakes and pretty much every thing is locality pure as well.
We cant keep exotics in oz, unlike you guys that can keep pretty much anything from around the world.
I envy you guys with the amount of different critters that you can keep.
Hell Id give my left gonad to legally be able to keep the red/orange form of Rough-scaled Bush viper,(atheris squamiger), or some Bush Masters.
One second thoughts id give both gonads to keep them. lol.

Yeah i used to keep and breed diamonds, but moved to north qld for a few years a while back and gave them all away to friends as the winters were a bit warm for them where i was moving to. Now that im back in SE QLD i may get back into some.
Only trouble is ive had a closed collection for many years now (as there are a few nasty virisus floating around OZ these days), and im not sure if i want to take the risk of bringing any new animals into my collection.

They get a bit of black specking on them,( like the one in the third lot of pics lower lefthand corner), but in another gen or 2 i should be close to producing a patterenless pure coastal carpet that will be from a golden tan to a bright yellow in colour depending of the animal and its parents.
Will have to post some more pics of some of the other snakes i keep in the next few days.

i hear what your saying mate.....

i would have the same concerns and would most likely only take Diamonds produced from closed collections (a trusted friend,etc), like the collection you have mate

re these days
are the more recent virisus you speak of,from illegal imports or have they sprung up from native wild stock, being introduced into collections ?

What species is the albino in the second batch of pictures? It looks like it could be either scrub or olive python, but I was not aware of albino versions of either of these snakes?

That's an Albino Olive and they are here in the states as well. Tom Keogan should be producing visible's this year or next.

Really!!, well bugger my days. I wonder who sent them over.? There arnt a huge number of people over here even that are breeding them. Good for you guys i spose.
