Re: Birthday present :)

Me and my step dad managed to get the tank and it's stand upstares and into the room today. I also went and bought some fancy lookin plugs for the holes, which costed way more than I expected. It was around 50$ for the 6, and I'm still trying to find a way to get screen on the inside. Unfortunately I also accidentally broke one of the glass top pieces.. I put some aquarium sealent on it to help hold it for now, but I'm going to have to get a new piece cut and buffed for it soon.

Re: Birthday present :)

The nob was predrilled in it already, it broke cause I forgot to close it and had it leaning up against the stand and I accidentally bumped it and it slammed shut pretty hard and cracked..

It's looking real good... you're putting in a lot of work. What kind of snake are you going to put in there??

Yes- that's what I meant. Are you going to move that knob to the frame now or risk one wrong move resulting in a repeat? Just a suggestion from an old man.

Re: Birthday present :)

You could have the new top made from acrylic. It would be much safer.

Ahhhh- Hard to see that on my phone. If you go back with glass I suggest no hole but use rear view mirror glue.

Re: Birthday present :)

So I have the enclosure up and running now. I don't have everything I want done yet, but the basics are in place and he's in. Thank You for the support everyone. I'll keep You posted if anything changes.
