If your finances are what you say they're you won't be able to afford buying online. Shipping costs are pretty hefty.

Since frozen last 6 months or so, why not go to petsmart and buy in bulk. Buy half fuzzies and half hoppers? Seeing home they should go up in size by then

I noticed that they are cheaper in stores than they are online... and that's before shipping so I am just going to find somewhere local to buy 'em.

Re: How to humanly euthanize a pinky?

Petsmart/petco mice are ridiculously priced (as is everything else) . I can buy almost 12-15 (depending on the size) mice at the store I go to for the price of 6 at petsmart. The drive is about 15 minutes, but buying in bulk there is worth it.

I would look around - I would also try to bump him/her up to small adults sooner than later. Buy a couple hoppers, and a couple adults.

I will. He took an adult hopper with no problem... I bought five adult mice for my BP and there are four left in the freezer. You think those would be good for my corn? I could upload a pic of the snake next to one to compare.

I wished I could get them where you do.

I can purchase rodents in the states, get them shipped to the border, make a three hour round trip, pay import duty and still make a profit selling them for half the price of my local pet stores.

Where have you been looking online?

Seventy-five cents for an XL mouse is pretty good. My local pet store sells small adults for $4 each.

Lol. I figured. The downside is it will cost $60 to $80 in shipping per box.

Re: How to humanly euthanize a pinky?

I get mine from Rodent Pro.com. The shipping may seem high but when you figure what you pay at a pet store it way cheaper. When i fist try them i was spending $45.00 to $55.00 every two weeks to feed my 9 snakes i had at that time. My first order from Rodent Pro was like $250.00 (that with the shipping cost) and it lasted me 6 months. Now that all but one of my snakes eat large rats or bigger it's saving me even more money. Plus once you become a regular customer they will send e-mail letting you know of sale and coupon for $10.00 off a order.

Just a sample at my pet store the biggest rats they have are large. They can get me extra large but they are $11.00 a piece. Rondet Pro as 2X Large rats are $2.50 each right now they are on sale for $1.25 each. With the money i saved the first year of buying from them was able to get a couple more snakes.

Also check Facebook. I joined a few snake groups on there and it seems like there's always someone sell mice or rats.

Re: How to humanly euthanize a pinky?

^^^ What Chuck said. I also order from Rodent Pro... my cost analysis showed them to be one of the cheapest. The shipping seems outrageous but considering that even with shipping each item comes out to like $2.18 versus $4+ in the store. Plus, it's based on filling a box. So you can mix-match sizes and pay the one shipping fee. The site tells you how full your box is.
