Thanks, man! I wouldn't have been as worried about what it was, but the snake was popped like 30 minutes before I found that, so I got a little scared. Thanks again, though!

Re: Snake Poo?

That pisses me off more than anything. They poop so you take them out and switch their towels but now I've moved to reptile carpet. You come back not one hour later and they left you another present

Move back to papertowels? Reptile carpet is inconvenient. You either leave it to gather lots of feces etc. and wash it all off. Or you constantly taking it out, washing it, and putting it back. Papertowel or substrate that you can simply scoop out the area is so much easier, with no disadvantages. Reptile carpet doesn't even look good...

I have used carpet, reptibark, and paper towels. I'd definitely say that you're right on this one. Any enclosure you put your snake in will probably need paper towels to be lined up parallel, so getting poo out is just pulling out a piece of PT, and putting a new one in! Easy as that.

Re: Snake Poo?

Yeah but reptile carpet is one solid piece perfect size for the tank. Paper towels aren't one piece and that means seams. As any snake owner can tell you, if there is a crack a snake will find it and crawl in it. I have 3 carpets, so cleaning and switching isn't really a problem for me

I wet it down at the creases and put pressure on it for a second. Then it will dry and be stuck together It's also a good way to keep the annoying corner pieces down. They like to stick up, but if you spray them a tiny bit, and press down on them, you're good to go! Try it out, and lemme know how it works, man!
