Re: getting a corn soon
what do you mean a mix?? like not pure corn??
I looked at the snowpal hatchling, but it was more purple than the peachy pink of the pic you posted.

Re: getting a corn soon
hard to tell at that age, however the most popular crosses between corn and rat snake are creamsicle and rootbeer morphs and that baby doesn't look like either of those

Re: getting a corn soon
where is he coming from, if it's an actual breeder, they should know morph, hets, Possible hets and feeding schedule.
if you don't have that info, it's a guessing game even when the baby is an adult. The only sure way would be to breed to find which genes it is comprised of (i know you dont want to breed, but that's the only way to be sure when the morph is unknown.)

Re: getting a corn soon
can't wait!!
This one is pretty! I like it too, and I am about as positive as I can be that it is an opal but we'll just keep track of her every second shed or so to see if she keeps with the opal's coloration. Though I can't imagine it being anything else.
don't expect the white to come in right away, my guy is 9 mos old now and is just starting to turn whiter with each shed.

Re: getting a corn soon
well you would get 100% Amels, het for lavendar. if you were to keep a female and breed back to your opal, you would then get 50% Amels (het lavendar) and 50% Opals

Re: getting a corn soon
depends on your tolerance to cold, even in the warmest parts of Canada (in the winter I mean) can get pretty cold here, we love it, but we were born to it. We have about 6" fresh snow right now (came last night) my husky is out rolling in it now!!
But, ya. Living in Canada is pretty cool!
