Without knowing the lineage, it is impossible to tell the subspecies. He could be a cross between all kinds of subspecies, since he is T+ it would be even harder to tell. The chance is very big that he is mainly Nicaragua, thats probably where the T+ comes from. I seriously doubt he will be very large, think your initial estimate is not far off. 5/5,5 feet is realistic, i would however start slowing down the feed. Once every 10 days is plenty for a year old male, as an adult he will only have to eat every month or so. (My male gets food every month and only if he's hungry, and he fasts about 4 months a year by his own choice, his weight is spot on for his size)
