New crested gecko hatchling!
Hello! It's been awhile since I last visited this forum but I have gotten into breeding my geckos and I finally have my very first hatchling! It's a pinstripe like it's daddy and I am very happy with how beautiful it turned out. I am waiting on it's sibling to hatch and I also have two other eggs incubating (and more to come). I'm extremely ecstatic. Photos of parents attached as well.

I'll be keeping a few and selling the rest. I'm not to worried about it though since I'm more than happy with keeping them for a long time. I'll have a hard time parting with them whenever I do decide that it's time for new homes lol.

Re: New crested gecko hatchling!
Lol
Yeah. I like just having pets. I'd like to pick up a nice red, yellow, or super dalmatian female. I have 4 cresteds now. A high end breeding pair of black and creme extreme harlys, a chocolate dalmation, and a buckskin patternless. I'd like to add a pop of color lol. The buckskin almost never fires and is super pale, that when I first got him I swore he was a moonglow or something lol.
I included picks of my high ends. The male is in the stick and not really fired up. He stresses a bit easier than the female and is a bit more shy. The female is active and curious. She watches EVERYTHING from her enclosure lol.

They're very pretty I love dark based geckos with high contrast patterning. My female is the orangey coloured one that I posted.. she's a bit of an oddball. I know she fires up black but she doesn't do it very often.. she usually just stays that grey colour in the photo. My male fires up realllyyyy dark and has bright cream patterning and that's what I prefer. I do also love reds and dalmatians. I want to acquire a yellow super dalmatian one day.

Thanks! The portholes were a complete surprise because neither of the parents have them lol.

Re: New crested gecko hatchling!
I can see that the female had portholes at one point probably and they kind of 'spread'. If you look at the pick of my female you can see the same thing. =)

You could very well be right. I hope they stay visible though and don't completely mesh in to the rest of the patterning, I know that they will have more pattern on their laterals because I can see the beginnings of it already. I'm so excited or them to grow up.

Definitely! I'll be taking photo's of them every few months to show their growth. Since these two are my first I think I'll definitely be keeping them. They already have temperament of their parents, just super laid back and they don't get all jumpy when being handled.
