Yes sir. That enclosure from Frank is killing me. I am making a taller version for my living room. I changed alot of my design after you started showing me franks work.
Those are beautiful cages. Inspiring for sure. I think I will go ahead with making it into one enclosure with two levels, so one snake will get 4x2x2 instead of two getting 4x2x1.

Sounds like a cool idea. I've seen some examples where instead of completely taking out the panels(between the two cages) people make small cutouts so the snake can use the bottom half as sort of a retreat or large hiding area. It would also probably be easy to make the bottom half the cool side, and the top half the warm side.

I've always wanted to do that! Make one half "underground" and dark and cool. That could look awesome.
IMO, 12" is fine. It's all a matter of preference. The majority of my Carpets are kept in 4ft tubs that aren't even a foot high and they do perfectly fine. I do also take them out often to let them roam and climb on an apparatus I have for them. Though I didn't like the tubs idea at first, they have all done perfectly well in them. I still ultimately prefer a 4x2x2 which I do have for the biggest ones. All depends on how you see fit.
