Just spent almost 5 hours the other day re-scaping my 33gal.
Here's the result:
Specs:
Tank: 33 gallon long
Filters: Aquaclear 300, under gravel filter with powerhead.
Hagen C02 machine, DIY media
Lighting: 80 watts fluorescent (two 30's and one 20)
Substrate: gravel
Getting things back to normal. Our tap water is still not up to par so I've been mixing filtered water in the water changes.
This roseline shark is doing fine so far, no signs of illness. Lost a rainbowfish though, but
it was due to impaction. Had a big long piece of plant leaf sticking out of its butt Not sure why it swallowed something that big in the first place...never sen that happen before...
