i don't even really look at my snakes or mess with them unless i am taking them out or spot checking or changing water or something like that. when i was younger (especially a young kid) i wanted to manhandle everything and hold them constantly and i ended up really messing up a BRB and giving it mites and made it stop eating and the whole 9 yards. sometimes i feel guilty for not taking my snakes out enough but they spend most of the time out of their cages just trying to find a nice spot to curl up and hide in anyway lol. so i just leave them alone 80% of the time and let them live their lives. leaves me with good eaters and full sheds :P
